You can really appreciate the power and force of nature by standing on the Canadian side of the falls. Make sure you stand right where the water turns down and falls. It's my favorite spot to go. The rumbling sound of the massive waters is absolutely relaxing. Beautiful place to go to. (The city around sucks and it's expensive AF, they have an extra tourist tax that you can ask them to take off the bill of you see it, and they have to. Just make sure to bring lunch or have food before, they mark up all the prices... Extreme tourist abuse that way.) But if you like gambling, you might love it.
